I enjoyed the podcast with Tracey Howard. I went to Disney a long time ago when my son Michael was in the HS Band. Their band was selected to march down main street which was a big deal at the time. I don’t know whether they still do that today. Problem was that since we are from New England the uniforms were made of wool.Poor kids were really hot in them since this is in Florida.Tracey would be the person who I would talk with should we want to plan another vacation. She appeared to know what she was talking about and also had a lot of experience planning trips. I hope that Tracey has people contact her after hearing this interview. I wish you well Tracey! Thank you Stephanie. Yes Disney still does invite High School bands from around the country to perform. Depending on when Michael was in high school it is most likely more common now than when he was in high school. Sadly when I was in HHS band colorguard MANY years ago the band participated in the strawberry festival in Buckhannon WV. Although fun and many good memories it was no march down Main Street USA. :). With the addition of Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex a wide variety of sports teams are also able to come to Disney to compete and share their talents.

I look forward to helping many plan their trips to Disney. With all that Disney has to offer there is something for everyone!
